About Me

Although I have no job experience I have personal experience in all things computers. I have built my current computer and a friend's computer, flashed numerous bios chips, have experience with Linux, and have helped my friends through their tech issues.
I also have a good work ethic as I want to join the Army. I know that I must be a hard worker and more importantly the best at my job no matter whether it is IT or fast food for me to have a chance in the Army.

Computers

For almost my whole life I've been around computers. I remember being given a crappy Dell Inspiron 620 when I was around four and soon later my first gaming PC when I was around six. I've always tinkered with them trying to learn more on what I could do. Eventually when I was around twelve I installed Linux Mint and fell in love with it. The customization, privacy, and freedom Linux gave me was nothing compared to anything Microsoft could have offered. I kept experimenting more and more and eventually switched boat to Arch Linux. I loved how you could pick only exactly what you needed. I learned about window managers and I installed DWM. I learned about Libreboot so I got a bios flasher and went to work. There is much more I can go in detail about but I think this gives a great example on my experience with computers and although I may not be an expert at everything I try my hardest to learn and succeed at whatever task I am trying to accomplish.

Discipline

When I was around twelve or thirteen I made the decision I was going to join the military. Now that I am getting older I have realized the day where I'm on that plane headed to basic training is getting closer and closer and so I am now spending most of my day preparing for the physical and mental fortitude I need to be the best. This includes the stuff you expect such as going to the gym, running, and rucking. But I am just as focused on the discipline I require. Getting up at the same time every morning, getting my chores done in a timely manner, and working. The main reason I am looking for a job is to build this discipline to prepare my mind for the military environment.
